Essential Little Rascals Fan Guide - Must Have!
By Smee
First found this book in a library and was amazed by all the in-depth information and pictures. Decided to buy on Amazon and I'm glad I did. This book, from the 70's, has great biographies comparative to Wikipedia entries of today and detailed episode descriptions.

THE OUR GANG IS MY KIND OF GANG!
By Kimmy Kay
The Little Rascals have been a favorite to me for a long time. I bought the Little Rascals DVD collection from a BEST BUY store a few years ago and I had the most fun time watching the episodes. I didn't know that there was a book about the Little Rascals until I saw a copy at the Shaker Heights Public Library. I wanted to purchase a copy to have right along with the DVD collection.
I browsed AMAZON's website and saw that there were sellers who had copies of the OUR GANG: LIFE AND TIMES OF THE LITTLE RASCALS. I purchased a copy and received it in a timely fashion. I was happy with the book, because it gave complete details of every Little Rascals episode that was created. I thought it was only 88 episodes, as indicated in the DVD collection. But then, I realized that this was not true when I purchased the book and discovered that there were 221 episodes in all!
I also liked the added extras in the book-the story of the Hal Roach Studios, brief information of the whereabouts of the main Little Rascals characters, and much more good stuff.
The OUR GANG is a must for Little Rascals fans. The book is the perfect companion to the Little Rascals DVD collection!

YOUNG RASCALS
By Jukebox Dave
OUR GANG-LIFE & TIMES OF THE LITTLE RASCALS-LEONARD MALTIN: THE LITTLE RASCALS have long been ingrained in pop culture consciousness...think of the sixties singing group SPANKY & OUR GANG, the HE MAN WOMAN HATERS sound bite that kicks off REO SPEEDWAGON's TOUGH GUYS or EDDIE MURPHY's hilarious SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE send up of BUCKWHEAT. Film critic LEONARD MALTIN hits a bulls eye worthy of PETE THE PUP's most distinctive feature with OUR GANG-LIFE & TIMES OF THE LITTLE RASCALS, that eternally popular series from the same HAL ROACH STUDIOS that gave the world LAUREL & HARDY. Chronicling the careers of cinema's most lovable, mischief making small fry...STYMIE, ALFALFA, SPANKY, FARINA, BUCKWHEAT, DARLA, FROGGIE and the rest...this insightful tome offers detailed capsule reviews of over two hundred film shorts (including many rarely seen early silent flicks). Anyone who ever played hooky or built their own fire engine from scraps of junk would be wise to put this book (alternately known as THE LITTLE RASCALS-THE LIFE & TIMES OF OUR GANG) at the top of their reading list.
